Classroom Language: Preparing the Pre-Service Teachers for Successful Interactions. Objective: This study aims to investigate how pre-service teachers (PSTs) employ classroom language Opening, Running, and Closing Lesson in classroom. Methods: A qualitative method was applied where data were gathered through questionnaire sheets an observation checklist. Thirty students second year of English Education Study Program Surabaya, Indonesia, participated this study. Findings: The findings reveal that PSTs have languages appropriately successfully eight components basic teaching skills. Nevertheless, three do not vary are expressions attributed opening lesson checking attendance, varying stimuli setting cleaning up media, organizing small group discussion. Conclusion: can be valuable input teacher education program more concerned with candidates’ variations prepare them successful interactions. Keywords: language, teachers, interactions Abstrak: Bahasa Kelas: Mempersiapkan Calon Guru untuk Keberhasilan Interaksi Kelas. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan menginvestigasi bagaimana mahasiswa calon guru menerapkan bahasa kelas (classroom language) membuka, melaksanakan, dan menutup pembelajaran dalam kelas. Metode: Metode kualitatif diterapkan dimana dikumpulkan melalui lembar kuesioner observasi Tiga puluh siswa di tahun kedua dari studi pendidikan Inggris berpartisipasi penelitian ini. Temuan: Hasil menunjukkan bahwa partisipan telah dengan tepat sukses enam komponen ketrampilan dasar mengajar. Namun, tiga yang terkait ungkapan tidak variasikan meliputi membuka pelajaran memeriksa kehadiran, mengatur membersihkan media pengajaran, mengorganisasikan diskusi kelompok kecil. Kesimpulan: Temuan dapat menjadi masukan berharga bagi lebih memperhatikan variasi gunakan menyiapkan mereka kesuksesan berinteraksi peserta didik Kata kunci: kelas, guru, interaksi DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v13.i2.202304
